Lighting reduction measures have been reviewed and approved by a licensed bat ecologist and have been designed to ensure safe routes for foraging and travelling to and from the development.
A variety of bird boxes have been installed across The Havens, on retained and newly planted trees, including specialist sizes and shapes for specific species such as House Sparrows, Robins, Swifts and House Martins, as well as general sizes for other local species including Barn Owls, Little Owls and Turtle Doves.
